Nancy O'Dell started her career in the broadcast industry as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became an anchor and morning reporter for WCBD TV. O'Dell's reportage on the streets of Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases has led to an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the DUI incidents. The Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell with its Best Report of the Years award in the entirety of South Carolina Media. Her work in Charleston was the reason she joined as co-anchor, investigative report and anchor for NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV. Prior to becoming a part of Access Hollywood she was a weekday co-anchor as well as NBC's weekend co-anchor. O'Dell in addition to anchoring the main show for Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC. The anchor has hosted a number of Pre-ShowArrivals programs to The Emmys as well as The Golden Globe Awards. Co-hosted The Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
